Meet Amuseables Horatio Pistachio, a charming character with a grand name and a growing passion for chocolate making. A playful gift for collectors, keen bakers and chocolate lovers, Horatio brings a little kitchen-inspired personality to a favourite shelf.

Horatio comes from a fine family and will politely explain that pistachios are technically seeds, not nuts. His family story traces back to an orchard in southern Italy, but despite his distinguished name, he has always been rather shy. A craft chocolate course finally helped him come out of his shell.

Now happiest in the kitchen, sticky, smiling and full of newfound confidence, Horatio spends his time hand-rolling truffles and pouring Dubai-style chocolate slabs. He has brought a batch for you to try, so be kind: he is still learning to temper!
